Alex joined the CDS team in September of 2007 as the Marketing Coordinator. Having relocated from New York City in June of 2007, Alex is enjoying her new home in Mount Pleasant. Her past career experience includes extensive marketing and business development work for a fundraising consulting firm in New York, as well as a strong writing background with an Internet marketing firm in San Diego and an internship program for Catholic Relief Services in Baltimore. Alex is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and a Minor in Psychology. Due to a number of moves growing up, Alex is happy to call Leesburg, Virginia and Encinitas, California her hometowns.
