Robert Knebel joined CDS in 2008 with 32 years of experience as a pastor in the Methodist Church and an executive leader in the nonprofit industry. Most recently, Bob was the President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who partnered with CDS in 2003 to conduct a major capital campaign raising over $6 million. Under his leadership, the Habitat Affiliate doubled its building program, vastly expanded its services and increased its staff and fundraising capacity considerably. In 26 years of parish ministry, Bob also led several major church capital campaigns. Bob resides in Stratford, Connecticut with his wife Patricia. The couple has two grown children, Megan and David.
