Tara Elgin Holley

As a fundraising professional with a 25-year-career within the non-profit sector, Tara Holley has served as the senior fundraiser for three universities including University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University and The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She has served as a consultant to a number of social-service organizations in Texas and Washington, D.C. including United Way(s) of Texas and Appleseed Foundation. Holley successfully led the Kroc Corps Community Center Campaign for the Salvation Army of Greenville, S.C. Art and cultural institutions that have benefited from her expertise include Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego, Cal.; Ransom Humanities Research Center, Austin; Austin Museum of Art and Art Pace, San Antonio. Formerly a program officer and grants administrator for the Texas Commission on the Arts and an intern with the Texas Council for the Humanities, she has considerable experience as a funder and grantor. Currently, Holley lends her many years of experience in the fundraising world acting as Special Counsel for Custom Development Solutions, Inc. (CDS). Holley holds degrees in music from the University of Texas at Austin and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Den Hague.
