Senior Campaign Director

Senior Campaign Director

Custom Development Solutions, Inc. (CDS) is seeking experienced fundraising professionals to serve as Senior Capital Campaign Directors. Qualifications include a minimum of ten years of fundraising experience, with at least six years experience in the solicitation of major gifts, preferably of an increasing size and significance. Capital campaign experience is preferred, but senior level management of a major gift solicitation effort is also acceptable.

Candidates must be friendly, outgoing, personable and articulate. They must be energetic, enthusiastic and good relationship sales oriented people. The most highly qualified candidates must be capable communicators both in writing and in speaking to groups. If you struggle to write—please do not apply. Good teachers and motivators are most likely to succeed. This position requires a minimum of a four years baccalaureate degree, persuasive communications skills and a penchant for leadership.

Top candidates must be thoroughly familiar with the administrative functions of a high-quality, fast-paced development office, proficient with the computer, fast typists with good proof-reading skills, proficient with Microsoft Office, and familiar with the basics of various fundraising database software programs. Obviously, good manners, knowledge of proper social etiquette and cultural sophistication are all very highly valued. The best candidates will be a ‘jack of all trades, and a master of most.’

CDS pays the cost of travel to offsite locations, along with your room and board.
